Boo!

This year I made both boys their Halloween Costumes! Seeing the outcome of each outfit made it worth all of the effort I put into them! Aiden was saying "snake in the boot, snake in the boot!" And Graham would just smile and smile. So sweet! You know what is the total opposite of that though?! The boys fighting over the lion costume -- I should have made 2!

Strange How That Works...

I knew someone was trying to tell me something! Not even 10 minutes ago I was thinking, man I really need to mop my kitchen. So Aiden brings his sippy over asking for milk. I fill it and hand it to him  (he always puts the lid on no problem) Well - Not today. Down it goes. Great! No excuses for me now. And just to add to that, I needed to do some laundry - So it's lucky I never did towels this week since that milk towel would stink up pretty fast.

Thank you universe for the spilled milk - I got some stuff done around the house today!

The Dreaded Call

You know the one. Where you are out doing something and then notice a few missed calls. "Hello Husband, how is everything going?! Yes, I am done with my fitness class and on my way......What?! Where?! OK - Be there as soon as I can."

Where, you might ask? That's right, the emergency room. Poor Aiden took his very first trip there last night. To my surprise, he was not crying when I got there. Having some fruit snacks in place of the tears. He was playing with his cousin and some new little friends and hit his forehead on the corner of a wall. 2 numbing doses, several shots, mommy tears, and 6 stitches later we were good to go for some ice cream. Because isn't that what everyone does when their child leaves the hospital?!

To be quite honest, I am utterly shocked we haven't had to make a stop there sooner. These boys just RUN RUN RUN everywhere they go. I don't know what that term "walking" is - because my children have never done it. You would think that I am training a mini sprinting team for a meet. It makes me a bit sad to think that his perfect skin has now been changed, is different - Vain, I know. Rongisch keeps telling me "Don't worry honey, chicks dig scars". I guess it is true, but how is Aiden going to be able to pull off "Yeah Baby, knife fight 2010" or "This?! This is nothing, you should see the other guy"

Now that we have this first horrifying experience under our belts, I wonder how long it will take to go back. And at that, who will be the next up to bat? Same hitter or the rookie.......

Pumpkin Patch

Check out those little heart breakers! My Sweet Darlings went to the pumpkin patch today and had such a wonderful time! Vala's is my favorite fall attraction - This will undoubtedly be one of the things I can't wait to take my kids to every year (as long as it isn't rainy and muddy!) - We are going again next week when my Brother-In-Law, his wife and my niece come to visit, and I have a feeling it will be twice the fun we had today  :o)

Graham Is A Dancing Fool

How sweet are my kids?! I especially love Graham's white boy moves! We have been putting on music everyday for 30 minutes to an hour and just dancing around the house. So funny, but so cute at the same time.
