Where did the time go?

I can't believe where the time has gone! A few weeks ago I took the boys to have their pictures taken - OY VEY. I don't know why I never learn; every time I take the boys to portrait innovations at VP they are running late. And not just by a few minutes. 15 is understandable, but we waited 40 minutes on a Tuesday morning! NEVER AGAIN. Even though the photos turned out adorable I don't think I could handle another experience like that, and neither could Graham :o)

Graham has hit his 6 month mark. At his appointment he weighed 20 pounds 2 ounces - He is in the 90th percentile for weight, and breastfeeding 98% of the time. I am so proud of my big eater, and proud of myself for sticking with it. It takes a lot of time and a lot of effort, but I love the bond it has created. We started him on some rice cereal and he is a big fan. Was so happy to be sitting in his highchair and getting to eat from a spoon. He is also rolling everywhere and scooting along the floor. He looks so cute when he gets up on those big chubby knees to try crawling, but can't quite hold himself up yet.

Aiden has started repeating everything, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. He has these little Dr. Seuss board books that he just can't get enough of. They are the same ones I had as a child - His favorite is Put Me In The Zoo, he loves the word ZOO! Loves to spell it, loves to point it out, and loves to say it. I am so glad he is interested in books. It is one of my favorite times of the day; snuggling and reading to him right before his nap time.

I have been trying to work out at least 4 times a week, I am so ready to get my body back. In the last 3 weeks I have dropped about 7 pounds! As long as I can keep up my good eating habits and stay committed to making the effort to exercise I think swimsuit season will be pleasantly surprising.

On an unhealthy note, Phil and I are going out for a daytime date tomorrow. We are going to hit up a German Beerfest, complete with German food and Das Boot. I am looking forward to it regardless of rain or snow!

Hilft das Bier gegen den Durst,
stillt den Hunger eine Wurst.
